The last two years many of us have shared and worked together on questions addressing the big picture and the underlying assumptions of growth and development as a social fabric. Our joint publication, an outcome of our meeting in 2010, will be ready as a double issue in 2012 in the Journal of Organisational Transformation & Social Change

Let´s share our curiosity, knowledge, and wisdom again. This time starting in 2012 with the challenge of organizational designs as enablers of an evolving eco-civilization. A lot of us are concerned toady with questions on the design of adaptive complex systems, network organizations, enabling spaces, non-organizations like the Change the Game Initiative itself, you name it ...

But what could we possibly achieve if we co-create radical innovative patterns together, learning from other practitioners and researchers who are experienced in biology, technology, sociology, management, development, design, and ...?

We found a wonderful partner organization among us, the Bertalanffy Center for the Studies of the Systems Science, and as a mentor Wolfgang Hofkirchner, who offered us the possibility to hold a symposium within the next European Meetings on Cybernetics and Systems Research in April 2012. It will be a unique opportunity, we heartily invite you all to join us and work with us on the challenge:

“Enabling organizations for thrivability: New perspectives on form, structure and process in favor of human and societal prosperity.”

Please follow the link http://www.emcsr.net/?page_id=493

Please also distribute the calls as wide as possible, there may be others interested in the next journey, or interested in other offers the meeting presents (there will be about twenty different groups meeting within the gathering, some with open invitations http://www.emcsr.net/?page_id=190

If you have PhD students concerned with inter- and transdisciplinary studies and systems please refer them to a unique opportunity, the possibility to be awarded within the EMCSR 2012 PhD Colloquium & Award

This is what you need to do, if you wish to participate:

Just submit an extended abstract and your bio-narrative with the submission system until the 20th January 2012 (!), the symposium will be highly interactive, the publications will be published after the co-creation and will be available online with an up to date open access publishing system!

For all who may not have the time to visit Europe in April 2012, the next event we are already working on will be in Vietnam 2013 facilitated by the ISSS, and we hope we can bond with many of your ventures and adventures during the next two years. We are putting a lot of effort in weaving the red threat, the paradigm changing narrative. So let´s play together!
