The Change the Game Symposium on "Enabling organizations for thrivability" takes place on Thursday, 12th January 2012, at the 21st European Meeting on Cybernetics and Systems Research in Vienna. An international team of researchers and practitioners followed our call, among them members of the Change the Game Initiative, Frithjof Bergmann (USA), Manfred Blachfellner (Austria), Stefan Blachfellner (Austria), Violeta Bulc (Slovenia), Thomas Fundneider (Austria), Alexander Laszlo (USA), Thomas Wallner (Austria), and new connections like Mary Edson (USA), Daniela Freudenthaler (Austria), Borut Potocnik (Slovenia), Oliver Kempkens (USA), Allenna Leonard (Canada), and Georg Weichhart (Austria). We will elaborate on visionary future structures and systems, the mezzo level of models and advanced system approaches, and the micro level of tools and practical case work, sharing our experiences in management, design, innovation, and system research.
